Barb is a Chartered Professional Accountant. She moved to Sparwood from the west coast in 1995 and was the Director of Finance for the District of Sparwood until her retirement in 2015. Barb believes in the value of community organizations and is a long-time volunteer/Treasurer of the Elk Valley Seniors Housing Society. Barb has previously served as the Chair of CFKR’s Sparwood Community Fund Steering Committee and as a Director of StellerVista Credit Union (formerly East Kootenay Community Credit Union).  She now resides in Kimberley where she enjoys gardening and spending time with her grandson.  Barb joined the CFKR Board in June, 2019.
